What anime is this? Upload a screenshot or fan art to find the anime, episode, characters and original artist in one search, then where to watch it. Free.
Saw a great scene in a clip, a GIF or a meme, or a piece of fan art you can’t place? Drop the image in, paste it with Ctrl+V, or give a link to it. One search runs three ways at once and shows each as it comes back.
The scene search, powered by trace.moe, checks the image against frames from thousands of aired anime and tells you the show, the episode and the exact moment, with a short clip so you can see it’s the right scene. The character search, from AnimeTrace, names who is in the picture and which show they’re from, and works on fan art too. The artwork search, from SauceNAO, finds where an illustration was first posted and who drew it.
When a show is in our catalogue you can open its details and where to stream it, or jump to the Anime Recommender for more like it. If nothing turns up, one click tries the same image on Google Lens, Yandex, IQDB and others.
Scene and character searches go straight from your browser to trace.moe and AnimeTrace; the artwork search passes through our server to SauceNAO. Otaku Scrolls never stores your image. trace.moe allows 100 free scene searches a month per connection.
